OBJECTIVE
How can you plan for liability and protect your young people and ministry? What is ‘risk’ and how do we address it?
Heavenly Father I ask you to bless me and all those who will help in this ministry. I pray that you will send your protection over the area of ministry and keep everyone who comes safe.
INTRODUCTION TO LIABILITY
Liability isn’t just about who is going to get sued if something goes pear-shaped. Liability is a legal responsibility. It means that you have a chance to change, to improve, or to stop something before it happens, or to minimise the damage caused by something that is happening.
